The course content amalgametes the traditional civil engineering knowledge with up-to date methods. The first year includes basic knowledge in mathematics, informatics, sciences, engineering, law and economics. The second year is characterised by basic civil engineering subjects such as materials, structures, surveying, geotechnics, hydrology, buildings and transportation. In the the third year the students can choose from three specializations: transport infrastructure, structural engineering or construction management.

The course includes four semesters of integrated project work (see at Municipal Engineering). During the last semester the students prepare an individual final year project (diploma thesis). This is frequently connected with their future work. The studies are closed by a state examination, including the assessment of the diploma work.

Yearly intake: 60 students
