In recent years Szechenyi Istvan University of Applied Sciences has
been making considerable efforts to raise its scientific and international
research activities to university level. This is in accordance with the
institution's widely-known aspiration to become a university. In order to
support this aim, in 2000 the University of Applied Sciences founded the Office
of Research and International Relations to aid, and provide a comprehensive
framework for, all scientific and international affairs.
